What does a brand feel like when its members run the world?

The WSJ Leadership Institute is an invite-only membership network for C-suite executives — convening leaders at exclusive, small-format events that show up wherever the world's most consequential conversations are happening. Building the brand meant establishing the Leadership Institute as a trusted platform: considered, understated, and unmistakably rooted in the authority of The Wall Street Journal.

The identity is built around a series of original abstract illustrations — dimensional forms constructed from grid-based structures — evoking connection, depth, and the shape-shifting nature of leadership itself. Grounded in WSJ's typographic equity, the brand extends that legacy into new territory: a membership proposition for leaders who don't need another conference, but do need each other.
