Designed by the brilliant folks at Gretel, the identity signals a new, modern direction while honoring a legacy brand, beloved by an uncommonly loyal readership. Anchored in Barron’s heritage, the visual language introduces a new monogram in keeping with Barron’s core typography, and an evolved vibrant palette expanding on legacy blues.
Introducing contrast into the language constructs—“They wait for takeoff. You jump on DAL,” and “They chase the current. You trace the power back to EXE”—sets up an expectation, and then exceeds it. The brand voice is elevated through strategic sharpening and specificity.
